Italia Ti Adoro is made by winemaker Michael Schmelzer from certified organic fruit grown in Tuscany, Sicily, and Marche. It is fermented in 80% concrete and 20% stainless steel, which keeps the fruit pure and gives it a polished texture. It opens with ripe wild berries, black cherries, and dark plums, with exotic spice, dried herbs, and a touch of earthiness. It is bottled in a traditional Italian fiasco. The wine is food-friendly and works with rustic Italian dishes or on its own.
