Les Enfants Sauvages 'Enfant Sauvage' Cotes Catalanes Rouge

Les Enfants Sauvages 'Enfant Sauvage' Cotes Catalanes Rouge

$35.00 USD

This is a red from the Côtes Catalanes in Roussillon, made from Carignan, Grenache, and Mourvèdre grown on clay and limestone. The grapes are hand-harvested and given a whole-bunch maceration for about a week. The wine is then aged for 10 months in cement tank with no fining and sulphites under 40 mg/L. A tasting-notes site describes it as medium-bodied with red fruit, a touch of spice, and a dry finish. It suits grilled meats and lamb.
