The wine has aromas of Chelan cherry, raspberry, boysenberry, cola, vanilla bean, dried violets, and graham cracker. On the palate are flavors of blackberry pie, fresh blueberry, rose petal, raspberry preserve, and a touch of caramel and baking chocolate. The wine has a beautiful balance of acidity and tannin that gives the wine length and balance. The wine finishes with a touch of chocolate-covered blueberries and silky-smooth tannins. The addition of Petit Verdot in the blend gives the core of Cabernet Sauvignon some additional structure, as well as the blue/black fruit notes in the nose.
