For this cuvée, a selection was made of parcels planted on calcareous soils on the Cuatro Gatos property in Gualtallary, fermented with 10% whole grapes. The effect of the soils, in addition to a rather cool season, has resulted in an outstanding wine that's generous in its expression of place and its notes of black cherries, flowers, and herbs, as well as an intriguing citrus note that gives it lots of personality. The palate is tense, with pronounced acidity.
